A New Look for FuelCellStore.com:
Our website has been completely overhauled

If you havn't been to FuelCellStore.com in the last few days, you may not have seen our new website layout. In a joint effort with Tonado web design, the FuelCellStore IT team has updated both the appearance and structure of the website. There are two main reasons that these changes were made. Structurally, the new configuration should be easier to navigate, leading customers more intuitively to the product that best suits their needs. Tornado is credited with designing the ECOtality web site. It is our hope that having Tornado's design elements present in both websites will convey the new corporate entity.

Science Fair Kit

Science Kit As another school year approaches more students will be planning their annual Science Fair Projects. Fuel Cell Store has kits and technical help available to support students develop projects in Renewable Energy. Our Master Fuel Cell teacher, Kathleen Quinn Larson is available to speak directly with students about their projects in hydrogen, solar and wind energy.

The Science Fair Fuel Cell kit is an affordable kit that includes everything except distilled water for experiments such as electrolysis, thermo dynamics of fuel cells, and hydrogen production and use.

Feel free to call our team in Boulder, Colorado at 303 237 3834 or Kathleen Quinn Larson in Scottsdale, Arizona at 480 219 5005 for suggestions or help with your science fair project.

Now available in North America,
the Electrum H2

The Electrum H2 is a PEM Fuel Cell System capable of delivering 1kW of peak power and 800W of continuous power at 110-230VAC.

It uses the MEGA (Membrane Electrode Gasket Assembly) patented fuel cell technology, which ensures minimized cost, easy maintenance, and high reliability.

ElectrumThe Electrum H2 starts instantly, requires no downtime or facilities for recharging, presents no special disposal requirements, and is suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. The hydrogen is supplied from an optional source such as a high-pressure cylinder.

This unit can be used as an auxiliary power generator, or as an Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS), providing immediate backup power in case of a line outage.

General Applications include:

-Power generator for portable appliances and power tools, and remote area applications
-Backup power for consumer electronics,
-Domestic power supply for individual residences and stand alone applications,
-Power generator for short-term utilities, emergency response, communication systems, and camping facilities.

International Youth Fuel Cell Competition
Last Call for Sponsors and Teams

The 2007 International Youth Fuel Cell Competition is coming fast! This global event demonstrates global cooperation in resolving energy issues specifically using hydrogen fuel cell technology. We have slots for two more teams from outside the United States. We also have a few sponsorship opportunities available. The event takes place from October 13 through the 18th.

The Fuel Cell Seminar in San Antonio, Texas has integrated the IYFCC into the program in a way that will be a great deal of recognition to the event this year. Competitions will take place in the Exhibit Hall and conference attendees will have the opportunity to vote for their favorite cars and timepieces and display their knowledge of fuel cell technology.

Sponsoring a team costs $1200. This covers room, food, entertainment and equipment for two students. Transportation is additional. We currently have teams from the US, Russia, Japan, India, and Germany. There is no limit to the number of teams that can be entered from a single country so we can accept teams from these countries, however, would like to have a few other countries represented.

Sponsoring an event ranges from $500 to $3000. Events that are yet to be sponsored include the Model Fuel Cell Car Race and San Antonio Day.
